Edward Johnson Packard is first owner, proprietor and majority holding partner at Tridex Geoservices. He has served as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer since inception in 1994. With over 35 years in the oil and Gas industry in various management roles and technical positions, his business acumen, innovation and strategic conceptualization is responsible for Tridex's fantastic and world class performance in the Oil and Gas playing field.

Packard started Tridex post his Suncor petroleum engagements where he held a number of senior roles including; Resource Development Director, Production Quality Analyst & Operations President. He also previously served leadership positions at Shell Petroleum, BP, and Husky prior to joining, and simultaneously while with Suncor. In the onset of his career as a young professional, Packard completed various exploration, drilling, production and marketing projects with TOTAL and Chevron.

Packard has premium engagements with community, environment and people through various organizations and platforms all across North America with a constant promise of outreach and engagement. Packard is a proud and active member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, and also a proud member of the Canadian society of Petroleum Engineers. He studied Integrated Petroleum Geoscience at the University of Alberta and got his Masters degree in Scotland at the University Of Aberdeen.
