Frederick David Carlson is third owner in partnership, Junior Vice President and Production Director in charge of new development at Tridex. Carlson has over 30 years of experience in petroleum geology, reservoir management/maximization, ground survey and seismic techniques as well as oil well mapping.

Within previous capacities Carlson has been Junior Director of Imperial Oil Ltd and was responsible for new business development and venture strategy not limited to upstream production and development, reservoir optimization, product management and operations prioritization. Prior to joining Imperial Oil, Carlson worked for Parkland Fuel as a portfolio manager, as well as production and development strategist.

Carlson studied his first degree at the University of Alberta and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Geoscience and also has a Masters Of Business Administration degree in Engineering Business Management. Carlson is a member of the Professional Engineering and Geoscience associations in Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta.
